1) Increase your business’s visibility

What is the best ways to do that? Make sure your brand is represented on blogs, websites, and media outlets throughout your industry.

If you are an active blogger yourself (which would be advisable for many types of businesses), try blogging about topics related to both your industry in general and specific keywords relevant to your product or service offering. By regularly publishing new content on relevant blogs, you can help raise awareness of both who you are and what it is that you do—and anyone following those blogs will see it.
